LEGO Architecture Great Wall of China (21041) Review

It seems almost impossible to bring one of the largest architectural structures in the world to existence using just 550 small plastic blocks.  When LEGO Architecture Great Wall of China 21041 was announced in April 2018, its first idea was not favorable. It looked unusual to try to capture something so big and expansive in a LEGO set, and it appears to fail in that attempt. However, the build includes some good angling techniques–both the curving and downward sloping sections of the wall. And the restriction of building it primarily in only two colors gives a classic look to the site.

The Great Wall of China sounded singular is a large variety of sections of wall which were built over 2,000 years by many different Dynasties. In the third century BC, after conquering the neighboring kingdoms Qin Shi Huang became the first emperor of China. He connected the present walls and added a new one. The wall also includes thousands of watchtowers, two of which are represented in the LEGO set.

LEGO Architecture Great Wall of China 21041 was released on August 1, 2018. The set contains 550 pieces and sales for $49.99. Interestingly, one of the images shows four copies of this set placed end-to-end, indicating that this model can be easily extended. The Great Wall of China can be distinguished from others in the Architecture line as it comes with two title tiles, one in English and one in Chinese.

Explore the creative building techniques that allow the structure to spread across thousands of miles of countryside, curving up, down, and around mountains, trees, valleys, and rugged undulating terrain to form a harmonious blend of nature and design. The model has been designed to deliver a pleasing and soothing building experience for people with an interest in architect, history, and travel, and makes a truly imperial centerpiece for the home or office. Building blocks from multiple models can be connected to extend your Great Wall of China souvenir display.

Features:

Model measures over 4” (12cm) high, 10” (27cm) wide and 3” (9cm) deep.

This set includes over 550 LEGO® pieces.

Multiple Great Wall models can be connected to expand your display.

It features a winding wall section with 2 turrets, draped over a mountainous landscape with trees and lakes,

And is topped with ornamental Chinese and English nameplates.

The included directory covers information about the design, architecture, and history of the building.

LEGO Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker Kylo Ren’s Shuttle Review

Kylo Ren's space shuttle is one of the most beautiful pieces in the new trilogy due to its unique and defining design. A similar set was released in 2015, with the difference that the exterior of the structure was painted grey, which absolutely didn't fit the movie, but this current "refurbished" version is absolutely fine, fits the original. Kylo Ren's space shuttle is an Upsilon-class command ship, used by Kylo Ren, who was leader of the Ren Knights and member of the First Order about 30 years after the Battle of Endor. The ship is one of the atmospheric invaders and troop carriers. The width of the ship (in open wing position) is 37.2 meters which two SJFS-200 ion engines have flown into the air. In the cockpit, five officers were able to stay at the same time and carry 10 passengers.  A total of 6 minifigures are supplied with this set, Kylo Ren is the supreme leader, in a helmet, holding the red lightsaber, General Hux, two stormtroopers a...
