LEGO Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker Kylo Ren’s Shuttle Review

Kylo Ren's space shuttle is one of the most beautiful pieces in the new trilogy due to its unique and defining design. A similar set was released in 2015, with the difference that the exterior of the structure was painted grey, which absolutely didn't fit the movie, but this current "refurbished" version is absolutely fine, fits the original.

Kylo Ren's space shuttle is an Upsilon-class command ship, used by Kylo Ren, who was leader of the Ren Knights and member of the First Order about 30 years after the Battle of Endor. The ship is one of the atmospheric invaders and troop carriers. The width of the ship (in open wing position) is 37.2 meters which two SJFS-200 ion engines have flown into the air. In the cockpit, five officers were able to stay at the same time and carry 10 passengers.

A total of 6 minifigures are supplied with this set, Kylo Ren is the supreme leader, in a helmet, holding the red lightsaber, General Hux, two stormtroopers and two ren knight. What we've best at representing the shuttle is if we lift the ship, its wings will open, as in the film when they were in flying position. Two flicks on the side which if we let out, we can lower and lift the upper part of the wings. We can manually adjust the angle of inclination by rotating the engines. Additional game feature to add 3 figures inside, and a trap door can be opened.

The ship looks extremely well on the outside, very much hit with this black colour. The solutions they used are very ok, faithfully adapts to the film. This kit is thus a clear finisher for me overall, both exclusive minifigures, and the way the ship looks, much better solutions than at older models.
